Major Timber & Trusses is seeking an Experienced TRUSS, FLOOR AND WALL DETAILER - Timber Structure Designer / Estimator to join our team in Derrimut, Melbourne. This full-time position will play a key role in our manufacturing business, responsible for designing and estimating timber prefab structures. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.
The role will include the interpretation and conversion of architectural plans and construction models for estimation and manufacture via Pryda design software. Also, the preparation of floor, wall and roof estimates, with an emphasis on prefabrication packages. General administration duties are also required, and intensive in-house training will be provided on the use of the design software.
