We’re looking for a Trust and Safety Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years managerial experience in a management role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in trust and safety, content moderation, compliance, or a related field, preferably within the online entertainment industry or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

Responsibilities:

Content Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce content compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Monitor and review content to ensure it complies with platform policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of content and provide reports on compliance status.
  • Manage the process for handling content complaints and violations, including content removal and appeals.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, including age verification laws, data protection (GDPR), and other regulations affecting the online entertainment industry.
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work with legal counsel to interpret and apply regulations to platform operations.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks related to content and regulatory compliance and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Investigate and respond to incidents related to non-compliance or safety concerns.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of trust and safety specialists.
  • Provide training, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the legal, product, and customer support teams to address compliance and safety issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including content creators, users, and regulatory bodies.
