Job Description

Join us as a Turbine Technician at our Gunning Wind Farm operation (31 wind turbines generating up to 46.5 MW of clean energy). Perform servicing and maintenance on turbines, ensure safety standards, contribute to improvements, and maintain maintenance records.

  • Perform Servicing and Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Carry out routine and emergency maintenance on wind turbines, high voltage systems, and infrastructure to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor Equipment Performance: Track plant and equipment performance, gathering data to boost operational efficiency and enhance maintenance practices.
  • Adhere to HSE Standards: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, prioritising safety and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Roster: Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 3.30pm, Friday: 7am – 12.30pm. You will be part of a 1:3 callout roster.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Appropriate Trade Certificate/License in Electrical or Mechanical Disciplines.
  • Previous technician experience within the power generation, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, or other heavy industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Maintain a current driver’s license for manual vehicles.
  • High Voltage experience and/or possession of a forklift licence will be highly regarded.
