Turbocharger Service Technician

REQUIRED SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have experience with servicing turbochargers
• Requires experience plus overall knowledge of maintenance, ability to communicate with other technical personnel and knowledge of machine repair practices and procedures

• Must be able to troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair turbocharger i.e KBB, Napier, ABB etc
• Perform field service job dismantling and assembling of turbocharger with lifting and shifting turbocharger components
• Able to perform workshop job i.e. blasting of components, cleaning, measuring, inspection etc
• Write and complete reports for the customers’ equipment overhaul
• Maintain and upkeep workshop tools and processes
• Perform Risk Assessments on site and formulate risk management plans
• Maintain site or workshop cleanliness before and after completing the job
• Troubleshoots equipment and systems malfunctions and recommends corrective action
• Able to read technical manuals like operation manuals, service manuals and service information
• Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time
• You will be entitled to overtime pay if overtime work is required .
• This role may be required to travel for work overseas occasionally
