We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Analyst to join our team in the turbomachinery field. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, analysis and optimization of turbomachinery components and sub-systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and safety. Working as part of an integrated global team, in this role you will contribute to the design of advanced systems and their technology maturation vehicles, with the aim of supporting product evolution and preliminary design activities for future programs.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Solid and proven experience in mechanical analysis and design, with a focus on turbomachinery components, or complex components
- Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, Hypermesh, Nastran, Lifing tools, Matlab or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including stress analysis, fatigue, fracture mechanics and thermal analysis.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., NX, CATIA) and familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- Availability of working in classified areas and military programs if requested.

- Fluency in Italian and English

Responsibilities:
- Perform and guide mechanical analysis of turbomachinery components and sub-systems, including stress, thermal, vibration and fatigue analysis.
- Utilize advanced simulation tools and techniques to predict the behavior of components under various operating conditions.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop innovative solutions that enhance the performance and durability of turbomachinery systems.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing technical guidance to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Prepare and present technical reports, analysis results and design recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Guarantee design execution quality by following established processes, standards, and best practices
- Develop and implement analysis planning and strategy to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the analysis process
- Contribute to the definition of new standards and design practices for continuous improvements
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical analysis and turbomachinery design.
