Description:
The role of the tutor is crucial in supporting learners in the assimilation of the skills covered by their course, whether they are theoretical, practical or behavioral. It enriches the learning experience by bringing a practical dimension to the theoretical concepts explored on our online training platform. In addition, the tutor shares their own professional skills, thus providing learners with a concrete and enriching perspective of their learning journey, while helping them to develop in their field of study.
Status: 15-week contract position
Language: Courses in English
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Planning, Marketing or Business;
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of planning;
- Bilingual (French/English);
- Experience in education is an asset;
- Proficient in OFFICE suite, MICROSOFT 365 (TEAMS);
- Knowledge of MOODLE, one August;
- Proficiency in OMNIVOX is an asset.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare structured virtual sessions with a combination of activities and exercises that help learners master the skills of the course;
- Facilitate virtual sessions, once every two weeks, in the evenings;
- Follow administrative procedures;
- Academic follow-up of learners;
- Respond to learners’ messages and facilitate discussion forums.
