JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide one-on-one or group instruction to students outside of regular classroom hours.
• Assess student learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans.
• Explain complex concepts, provide guidance, and facilitate understanding.
• Assist with homework, projects, and test preparation.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and study skills.
• Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Adapt instruction for diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide feedback, encouragement, and support.
• Maintain records of student progress and sessions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area (e.g., Mathematics, English).
• Teaching or tutoring experience (1-3 years).
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
• Ability to work with students of varying ages, skill levels, and learning styles.
• Patience, empathy, and understanding.
• Familiarity with educational software, technologies.
• Flexibility in scheduling (e.g., evenings, weekends).
• Reliable transportation (if in-person tutoring).
