Description:

SKILLS

  • Strong ability to educate and communicate complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, demonstrating patience and empathy.
  • Previous tutoring experience is preferred, showcasing effective teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with classroom dynamics and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills, allowing for the management of multiple students’ needs simultaneously.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From $18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Must be very familiar with Ontario Curriculum
  • Must be positive to teach all your students
  • Must be friendly and nice to co-operate with colleagues.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Educate students on specific subjects, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills.
  • Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials that align with curriculum standards.
  • Communicate effectively with students to assess their understanding and progress.
  • Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to identify areas where students may need additional support.
