The First Nations University of Canada, Department of Student Success Services is accepting applications for Tutor at the Regina Campus in the area of Science as well as a General Tutor.

Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Minimum 3rd Year or 4th Year University student (minimum 60 or more credit hours) or possess an Undergraduate Degree in a related area.
  • Must have an overall GPA of 70% or better, with a minimum GPA of 75% in at least 12 credit hours in the tutor subject area.
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with reporting requirement

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work with students on problem areas in their course work by explaining course concepts and examples and assist with exam preparation through individual and/or group tutoring sessions at mutually agreed upon days/times.

Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Salary Range: $18.00 – $24.00 hourly rate including vacation pay depending on academic credentials.
