Description:

Key Tasks And Duties

  • responsible for planning coordination, budgeting (resource allocation), implementation, coordinating fundraising efforts and managing team deliverables, in line with Strategic Management Committee expectations
  • Liaise effectively and build strong trust relationships on the Twende Mbele Programme with African government partners, Parliaments, national and regional evaluation associations (i.e. voluntary organisations for professional evaluation [VOPEs]), and members of the management committees.
  • Undertake programme management for Twende Mbele Programme, including organising management committee and other meetings, planning, and supporting activities of the programme.
  • Maintain M&E systems for Twende programme management which promote knowledge sharing and lesson learning as well as donor reporting requirements.
  • Plan and manage communication activities including overseeing the work of the Learning and Communications Coordinators, and managing learning systems.
  • Follow administrative processes and procedures of the University (i.e. Wits Commercial Enterprise), and donors for the Twende Mbele Programme.
  • Continuously implement and refresh the Resource Mobilisation Strategy
  • Complying with requirements such as corporate governance, health and safety, data protection and equalities.
