The research focuses on the control of neural stem cell fate by noncoding RNAs, in developing and adult mammalian brain. Central questions addressed involve basic aspects of small noncoding RNAs (e.g., microRNAs, Piwi-interacting RNAs) in neuroscience and their translational applications for neurological diseases.

Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Design and conduct the experiments, analyze the data
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary staff of IIT, draft reports, give oral presentations in lab meetings and Dept. Seminars
