Two Sous Chefs

Crown Empire is a luxurious nightclub opening in the heart of Auckland, offering high quality entertainment to our clientele, in a fun and relaxed environment.
We are currently looking for two full time experienced Chef positions for our kitchen.

As a Second Chef, you will work under the head chef, and manage control and direct food preparation by:

• Approving and polishing dishes before servicing to our clientele
• Working closely with other kitchen staff at all levels
• Creating and improving recipes ensuring variety, high quality and originality
• Being ultimately responsible for the respect of all regulations (including health and safety)
• Being responsible for managing and training junior staff
• Managing food supplies orders

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Demi Chef De Partie, Sous Chef or Chef De Partie in commercial and busy eating establishments
• Experience in working in kitchen of elegant and high-class restaurants is preferred
• Courtesy, professionalism and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in the weekend and at night
• Hours per week will be 30, from Wednesday to Sunday, organised in rosters during the hours of operations of the business, from 3 pm to 4 am. From time-to-time additional hours might be offered, to a maximum of 50 per week in busy periods.
  In return we offer a pay of $30 per hour, a permanent contract and the opportunity to work in an exciting and sophisticated environment.
