REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years experience with React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, Material UI, WCAG, and web usability
• Experience building responsive layouts
• Experienced with the creation and maintenance of Design Systems using Storybook
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to influence and educate peers and stakeholders
• Be a proactive self-starter, who is able to work in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and help to ensure that excellent customer experience remains a primary area of competitive differentiation
• Have a basic knowledge of Figma and Jira tooling
• Be able to demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation of UX principles
• Be curious, eager to learn, quick to ask questions, and keen to develop and expand their existing professional competencies

• As the first UI Engineer to join the UX Team, you will have the chance to really own and shape the role.
• Take ownership of all front-end and coding aspects of the DoiT Design System and help us continue to develop and refine our best practices.
• Develop reusable React components that adhere to MUI best practices with a focus on accessibility, usability and responsive design.
• Collaborate with UX Designers and Engineers.
• Create and own the Design system roadmap, as well as lead the adoption of it within DoiT.
