Description:

DFnet provides data management, biostatistics, and software development services for industry, non-profit, and academic organizations worldwide. Since 2004, DFnet’s people, products, and services have helped our global clients with over 100 Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials. Our focus is global health. DFnet helps researchers manage and analyze data across 18 therapeutic areas with clinical sites in over 35 countries. Our work includes HIV, TB, Malaria, Ebola, and other tropical diseases.
We are a fully remote organization with team members in South Africa, Canada, and the United States.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience with visual/UI design for web, desktop, or mobile applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development or an applicable design-related discipline.
  • Strong typographic and colour theory knowledge.
  • Ability to create and quickly iterate on high-fidelity mock-ups.
  • Ability to communicate UI ideas verbally and visually in an efficient and clear manner.
  • Knowledge of conventional design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch etc.
  • Portfolio of relevant UI design work from shipped products/ apps/ services is an asset.

The Interview Process:

  • Resume Review: Our hiring manager will review all submitted resumes and select candidates for initial interviews.
  • Assessment: Selected candidates will be invited to complete a brief assessment using the Predictive Index tool.
  • Technical Interview: Candidates whose assessment results best fit the role profile will be invited to a technical interview where they will be asked to demonstrate their skills by sharing a project. A second interview may be scheduled.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a proven track record in translating high-level requirements and interaction flows into intuitive, functional user interfaces. The successful candidate will lead design efforts and play a crucial role in the ongoing evolution of our eClinical software, DFdiscover.
