Description:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an IT Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) Administrator to join our team in Stanford-Le-Hope. This role is in charge of assisting the Systems Team in ensuring that the integrated terminal system solutions are properly tested and operational within the agreed-upon timelines while meeting the business requirements. To also help the Systems manager and be a member of the Systems team for testing, integration, commissioning, and go-live preparations for all systems required for the automated terminal.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience working with Navis TOS system.
- 3-4 years’ experience within a similar role.
- Experience working with a maritime or logistics sector would be preferred
- Zodiac experience would be beneficial
- Proven practical experience working with Navis TOS system.
- Writing detailed requirement and functional specifications for complex business needs.
- A proven track record of successful project implementation of the TOS system
- Good knowledge of the IT environment;
- Experience with Business Process Modeling;
- Ability to take on any operational requirements, turn them into business processes;
- Experience in Incident Investigation;
- Able to devise IT test plans and implement them including training users;
- Able to create documentation and training material if needed;
- Be able to work within a team, especially as needed to meet challenging deadlines;
- Work effectively under pressure;
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with Operations and IT staff;
