Responsibilities:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a UK Stock Controller (Engineering) to join us in our Central Engineering team at Bakkavor Spalding.

Duties and Responsibilities will include;

  • Deliver the engineering inventory strategy.
  • Deliver the inventory CMMS process and support the procurement team with necessary information.
  • Support delivery of the digital management processes including the file structure, the ability to manage business correspondence and confidential information.
  • Construct reports of food and drink inventory management activities, internal performance reports, asset management plans, reports to specific regulators and certifying bodies.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation for food and drink engineering components.
  • Manage external resources, meetings, schedule appointments and document discussion content.
  • Organise the logistics and support the procurement of component parts for food and drink processing and packaging assets.
  • Review inventory availability and performance of maintenance components. Review the suitability and efficiency.
  • Audit and feedback the engineering documentation to ensure it is current.
  • Support the selection of external suppliers, contribute to performance measurement of suppliers within the context of the organisation’s asset management approach.
  • Manage/respond to breakdowns of food and drink processing and packaging assets. Manage/conduct inventory interrogation to support reactive requests and develop corrective actions to resolve deviation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to optimise food and drink assets or processes. For example, participate in failure investigations to ensure process effectiveness and to contribute to and implement practical engineering solutions for efficiency and profitability.
  • Contribute to food and drink internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to technical performance reviews in collaboration with other functions and stakeholders.
  • Support the administration of maintenance and operational team members in the delivery of engineering technical competence.
