JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for creating and securing sales opportunities for Service Sales products in the Middle East. As the sales and technical expert for PCS & ULS service products, the specialist addresses customers’ clinical, technical, and process-related questions. The role also involves differentiating GE Healthcare ‘s service offerings in the market.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher education in technical and medical fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of selling/promotion experience in a medical, healthcare, or technical field.
  • Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solutions-based sales approach.
  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong capacity and drive to develop a career.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the local language as well as a good command of English.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for creating and securing sales opportunities for Service Sales products in the Middle East. As the sales and technical expert for PCS & ULS service products, the specialist addresses customers’ clinical, technical, and process-related questions. The role also involves differentiating GE Healthcare ‘s service offerings in the market.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve Service Sales orders and sales operation targets for PCS & ULS in the ME region.
  • Forecast sales using applicable sales funnel tools.
  • Build strong business relationships and formulate account relationship plans within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and respond to key account technical and departmental decision-makers’ needs.
  • Maintain customer contact records in relevant tools (e.g., SFDC).
  • Maintain a network of key opinion leaders within the ME.
  • Develop an understanding of customers’ evolving clinical and operational issues and challenges.
  • Maintain up-to-date, detailed knowledge of GE Healthcare ‘s products, solutions, and services.
  • Present and discuss technology and clinical benefits in terms relevant to customers.
  • Identify current clinical and technical needs of clients.
  • Create viable product configurations that effectively meet customer needs while achieving optimum margins for GE Healthcare.
  • Differentiate assigned product offerings throughout various stages of the sales process that meets customers and local market needs.
  • Create territory plans, including opportunity development, competitive strategies, and targets.
  • Develop and maintain commercial analytics for the PCS & ULS service business, such as capture rates and revenues by product family and business segment and act accordingly.
  • Provide operational leadership support on strategy deployment and sales performance analysis.
  • Ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities.
  • Safeguard the integrity of the Installed Base (IB) data for PCS & ULS ME.
  • Represent the company at relevant medical conferences and technical exhibitions to promote products, solutions, and the company.
  • Estimate delivery dates to customers based on the company’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Contribute to account plans at accounts managed by account managers/executives.
  • Collaborate with and leverage subject matter experts and other resources within GE Healthcare channels to build relationships and secure business.
  • Adhere to and uphold the highest standards of compliance with relevant international and local regulatory and GE Healthcare Promotional Codes.
  • Adhere to all applicable GE Healthcare compliance policies, codes, and training requirements.
  • Identify any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
