SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS (NON-EXEMPT POSITIONS):

• Per Diem
• Day
• 8-5

• Prepares & sends specimens to labs in the absence of the secretary.
• Prepares exam rooms before patient enters & cleans room following patient’s exit.
• Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures by assisting them onto the table & instructing them in the procedure that is being performed.
• Selects & records appropriate images for the permanent
• Performs imaging and related procedures in the following areas; Abdomen, OB/Gyn and small parts,
• The Ultrasonographer demonstrates knowledge of the human structure and functions, principles of sonic energy,
• Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure,
• Follows all established Ultrasound, Radiology and Hospital Policies and Procedures and is proficient exams both within and outside of the Department
