Description:
BRING is the globally awarded creative agency of Universal Music Australia, creating innovative and tailor-made marketing solutions for brands. We leverage the power of Music & Culture to create innovative and differentiated customer propositions for our brand partners to help them grow their business.
The BRING team are currently looking for a Business Development Director in charge of closing deals with brand partners, handling agency & partner relationships (e.g. Spotify, SXSW, TikTok, agencies, publishers), working with the MD for sales support, delivering campaigns and developing new revenue growth strategies for the agency.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this candidate will primarily focus on identifying new business and the development and strategy of client pitches and ensuring seamless execution of brand client campaigns across experiential, content and influencer marketing; supported by the wider BRING team

Skills and Experience
Be Commercial
- Prospect for new brand & agency contacts
- Lead development of pitch process and presentation
- Build & own a sales pipeline alongside the rest of the team
- Seek brand partners for tactical artist opportunities
- Create clear, compelling presentations with PowerPoint and/or Keynote to formulate response to brand briefs and prospecting network opportunities
- Identify revenue opportunities
- Design go-to-market strategies to implement the new opportunities identified.
- Pitch and present new proposals to senior internal and external stakeholders
Be Organised
- Prepare reports & updates on sales activity for senior management
- Prepare post campaign reports with results driven KPIs, and overall project anaylsis
- Effective & professional project management of given campaigns
Be Collaborative
- Assist the team on answering brand and agency briefs
- Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams including data & insights, creative, media buying, legal & label relationships to answer briefs
About you:
- Tertiary qualification (Business/Marketing/Communications), with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong “Hunter” capabilities, new business/sales focus
- Experience in new business brand partnership development and relationship management
- Strong passion for Music, Entertainment & Culture
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills, & business flair
- Superior administration & presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive approach
- Team player with capacity to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines and have a strong sense of initiative
- Creative, lateral thinker
- Computer skills required (proficient in PowerPoint, Excel or equivalent)
- Experience within marketing, publisher, agency or sports-agency sales preferred
