Description:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Excellent analytical written and verbal communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Positive working experience with use of Microsoft Excel (advanced user skills) - manipulating data with use of formulas, generation and formatting of graphs and other data visualisations.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the Hydrosave active Water Leakage Detection contract for Thames Water, we now invite applicants for a key role of Unaccounted for Water (UFW) Campaign Analyst.
The purpose of this workstream is to identify and/or investigate specific areas/customers where there is a suspicion of Unaccounted for Water or Data Improvement. Where Unaccounted for Water or Data Improvement is confirmed, to prepare a plan for resolution of the issue, brief the resolution activity owners, and follow through to completion.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Analysis of District Metered Areas (DMAs) to identify actual or potential sources of Unaccounted for Water (UFW) or Data.
- Analysis of potential sources of UFW identified by other work streams, Leakage Optimisation Team or Support Network Technicians (NSTs).
- Planning for and deployment of resources to undertake field investigations
- Collation of data to determine the process in resolving the UFW issue
- Resolution plan and monitor through to completion.
- Scrutiny of Thames Water System Data compared to the DMA makeup/property data which will include comparisons against Netbase, GIS, CMOS, C4C/ISU to identify possible UFW, whether it be leakage Consumption or Data integrity issues.
- Deploy Technicians in the field to undertake investigations.
- Responsible for collating data from investigations and preparing reports to the Thames Water team to identify action where required in resolving the Unaccounted for Water/ Data Improvement issue.
- Monitor progress through to completion.
- Preparation of both Client & Internal weekly reports.
