AVAILABLE SHIFT: MONDAY 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM, TUESDAY 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM, FRIDAY & SATURDAY 4 PM - 12 AM, AND SUNDAY 2 PM - 10:00 PM
Prosegur Security is looking for Full-Time Unarmed Security Officers in the Queens, New York area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 21+ years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- NYS Issued Security License
- 1 Year of Security Experience
- Must have Weekend Availability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
- Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
- Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
- Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
