Description:

  • ASIC is seeking a full time Unclaimed Monies Analyst to join their Finance Team
  • Salary starting from $59,497 (depending on experience) plus up to 15.4% superannuation
  • Permanent position based in Brisbane

    The team
    Finance provides strategic oversight of ASIC’s financial resources and leads financial reporting, financial compliance, property and procurement functions. The Finance Operations & Cost Recovery team is responsible for ASIC’s revenue management and unclaimed monies processes and supporting project work across the finance team.

The role

  • Work through problems, provide analysis and support to internal teams
  • Produce analysis, advice, and support for Unclaimed Money statistics
  • Assist with the development and system builds to support solutions to incorporate statistical data into Power Bi to enable reporting outcomes.
  • Investigate available efficiencies for receiving large volumes of data in csv files of lodgements.

About you

  • Secondary education certificate or diploma.
  • Experience in software applications utilising analysis and reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organise, analyse and disseminate financial information succinctly with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An understanding of, or the ability to quickly develop an understanding of, ASIC’s role, its strategic priorities, and processes as well as the legislation it administers.
