Position Summary:
To hire an Undergraduate Student Research Assistant. The applicant will participate in the design, manufacturing, and experimental testing of FeX reactors for the development of our scaleup products. The applicant will work with our team of researchers and engineers, developing, testing, and operating the reactor that sits at the center of our technology. The applicant will have a key role in testing our experimental reactors and exploring R&D pathways for reactor improvement.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Knowledgeable in mechanical design, combustion and fluid dynamics, and thermal systems
- Knowledgeable in electrical systems for laboratory and prototype testing
(instrumentation and data acquisition systems, power management, safe electrical design)
- Able to understand complex, integrated systems, with mechanical, thermal, structural, and electrical components and constraints
- Experience with 3D CAD software SolidWorks
