Description:
Responsibilities:
As an engineering student you would begin to learn your craft alongside and under the guidance of BG&E’s engineering team, assisting project teams with a variety of tasks including the development of documentation, reports, and engineering calculations.
You’ll likely have opportunities to:
- Work collaboratively within the buildings team on local buildings projects
- Get involved with construction support including response to RFIs.
- Accompany engineers for site inspections.
- Learn how to support project teams with analysis, design, asset management, and reporting.
- Learn how to ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate legislation, and how to work with drafting teams to produce structural engineering drawings
