ABOUT THE JOB
We’re looking for Industrial Automation or Mechatronics Engineering undergraduates in their penultimate year of study to join our paid 12 week summer internship program running from November 2024 to February 2025.

As part of the Worley Graduate Community you will be supervised and mentored by experienced staff within the automation engineering department. This role will provide you with experience in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and its customers.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Participate in the delivery of automation engineering services that meet Worley’, its customers’ and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Assist in performing automation engineering services such as contributing to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions, and assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
- Support project teams with documentation, data analysis and programming
- Practical application of PLC, DCS & SCADA systems designed to support the mining and manufacturing industry
- Communicate effectively with the automation engineering team and project stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you will need to be undertaking a recognized, relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a professional Industrial Automation or Mechatronics Engineer and be in your penultimate year of study
- Some knowledge of technical and practical automation engineering skills.
- Some knowledge of the fundamental requirements of automation engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Developing skills in automation engineering specific software.
- Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office
