Responsibilities:
SOME OF YOUR SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE:
- Underwrite in line with the Cyber governance framework - e.g. Underwriting Authorities, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules, and Principles
- Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at the time of inception
- Train, develop, and coach less experienced colleagues
- Create and maintain positive relationships with key producers clients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. risk managers)
- Ensure accurate policy documentation is issued to producers (where it is Allianz Commercial’s responsibility to do so) or producers have issued documentation (where producer’s responsibility).
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Solid experience as an Underwriter, Broker, or relevant equivalent in the Cyber sector
- Experience underwriting profitable business in the Cyber segment of large corporate international insurance
- Recognised relationships with clients and brokers at the peer group level.
- Specialised understanding of regional/local Cyber insurance markets and competitor landscape
- Capable of leveraging data and analytics to make business more efficient and effective
- Good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework
- Ability to design, develop, and implement consistent, robust wordings for contracts.
- Fluent German and English language skills
