Job Description - Credit & Political Risk Credit & Political Risk Underwriting Assistant / Junior Underwriter
A unique opportunity to join the Atradius Credit Specialties London Market team as Underwriting Assistant / Junior Underwriter. The business unit underwriters a range of bespoke Credit and Political Risk Insurance products originated in the London / Lloyds Market.

Responsibilities:

Recording and management of submissions / enquiries database
Administration with regards to premium collection and allocation
Monitoring of exposure and associated administration
Working closely with Finance, Admin and Audit
Responsible for policy management
Assisting in the underwriting of new and renewal business
Working closely with in house analyst teams
Working with our broking community
Various tasks that will assist the underwriters in the day to day underwriting of the portfolio.
What knowledge, skills and experience do you have? The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
Preferably a Bachelors or Masters’ degree with a significant analytical component
Strong written and communication skills
Understanding and interest in macroeconomics / geopolitics
Well organized with strong attention to detail
Fluent in programs such as excel, outlook word etc
An ability to interpret financial statements will be considered favorably
