Description:

Overview:
The Specialty Insurance Client Service Team supports external agents, internal Underwriters and other disciplines as required. We support agents end users nationwide. Agent communication is primarily received via email; this is not a call center. The Specialty Insurance Client Services Support Team’s mission is to be the single point of contact for our agent users by providing high quality and innovative support.
This position provides analytical and administrative support to the Client Services Support Analysts Team who troubleshoot and resolve agent’s IT related issues and operational challenges. Implements policies and procedures set forth by the Client Services Operations Manager. Works with project teams and senior business analysts to make sure that the products and/or application development within the rating systems meet the needs of the end users. Responsible for making sure the final deliverables meet the project specifications and requirements. Interacts professionally with both external clients and internal business partners within the company. This will be a hybrid/dual role that will operate within both the Specialty Program and E&S (Excess and Surplus) divisions of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that various appropriate infrastructure elements, periodicals, manuals, policy documents, etc. are maintained and updated as necessary
  • Track and maintain all reported issues and requests that are received in shared Inbox(s)
  • Manage and maintain user rights credential provisioning and communication
  • Contribute to and take ownership of all additional tasks that are assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a structured environment by utilizing organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft processing software tools
  • Highly analytical and possesses critical thinking skills
  • Possesses good written and oral communication skills via multiple different communication channels
  • Highly proficient in multi-tasking and workload management
  • Displays good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well in a team-based environment
  • Ability to adapt in an exciting, fast paced environment with the potential for unpredictable deadlines and shifting priorities
  • A driven and motivated individual who takes initiative and is eager to learn within the small commercial insurance space
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred
