Description:
Do you have a passion for helping customers? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Support Administrator to join the team and play a key role in helping our customers find a place to call home.
About the role
During your time at YBS you will be provide essential administrative support to all underwriting service delivery teams. Your work will help ensure that we are lending in accordance with agreed practices and service levels.
This is a role where you will always be able to get stuck in, responsibilities are wide and varied and include, but not limited to:
- Ensuring all Customer, Broker, Solicitor, and internal customers correspondence received (post, emails and faxes) are worked or allocated within agreed service standard.
- Ensuring that any necessary customer batch printing of offer is carried out accurately in accordance with set service standards.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls to internal underwriting colleagues but also external parties such as Solicitors, Broker’s and Customers.
- Support all Customer and Broker product transfers to create offers, keeping up to date with product and mortgage knowledge and changes to service Broker / Customer Queries
- Look at ways we could improve processes and automate where possible.
The role is full time, working a 9-5 shift pattern and is mainly office based with some hybrid working when competent in role.
About you
You will need to have great administration skills and experience; this’ll be coupled with.
- Ability to offer great customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- A good understanding of YBS and the mortgage products we offer
