Responsibilities:
- Support with personal care needs on an individual basis recognising choice, ability and diversity.
- Dispense and administer medication to residents following successful completion of training and competencies.
- Recognise and actively encourage the importance of social activity in a person’s day.
- Mentor and lead a team within the home on best practice; demonstrating what good care and support looks like.
- Understand the importance of a person’s life history and incorporate this into the daily care needs
