How you make a difference:
The Unit Clerk provides administrative and medical support to a healthcare unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate logs, inventories, and forms.
- Ensure the clinic and dental rooms are stocked and ready for use.
- Answer phone calls and arrange for needed supplies or repairs.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing and tracking medical records and appointments.
- Perform other duties as required, including duplicating materials, taking off orders, distributing mail and packages, and monitoring general e-mail correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- High school diploma or G.E.D
Experience
- Minimum of one year in a health care setting, medical terminology training. Computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Word along with good organizational and communication skills.
