As the rest home Unit Coordinator, you will use your nursing and people skills to:

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, ensuring care is always “good enough for mum and dad”
• Foster the Ryman culture which promotes a safe and enjoyable work experience for your team
• Ensure all care is continuously assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet the needs of each resident within the Unit
• Actively engage with resident’s families/whānau, visitors, Allied Health Professionals, and District Health Boards, creating lasting relationships
• Perform and support your nursing team to conduct interRAI assessments
• Intermittently provide additional time outside rostered hours to attend events, support team members or residents and families as needed
• Dedicate quality time with your team, including flexibility of rostered hours on different shifts to connect with all team members within the unit
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with your team that promotes respect and trust
• Participate as a positive and trusting member of a team that works together as one
• Provide support to your Clinical Manager and Village Manage

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team as a Unit Coordinator for the rest tome Unit at Charles Upham Retirement Village located in Rangiora a 30-minute drive from Christchurch central. This is a fixed term role working from the 10/12/24 to 09/06/25 Tuesday to Saturday 0730 - 1600 with a shared on-call component.

As the rest home Unit Coordinator, you will use your nursing and people skills to:
