We are excited to be in the position to advertise a Senior Nurse opportunity with renal services and to provide leadership in a key area of the service.
Kendal Dialysis Unit Manager, based within Westmorland General hospital situated in the beautiful Lake District.
We are seeking tomorrow’s nurse leaders to join our friendly Renal team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. Where our speciality makes us exciting, ambitious and forward thinking and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our senior team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues devoted to improving care quality and enhancing the patient’s experience.
You must be able to lead, support and motivate a team to provide the highest quality patient care and show evidence of effective leadership, organisational and communication skills. Experience within this specialty would be advantageous and i n return we can offer a huge commitment to your ongoing training and development which will be tailored to meet your individual needs.

You must have a proven ability in supervising, managing and controlling the activities of a unit in an effective and efficient manner. You will be a clinical role model and have a willingness to develop the team as well as your own professional growth. You will have excellent communication skills and high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike.
You must have recent experience of working in a senior nurse role and must be able to demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills in caring for Renal patients. You will be knowledgeable regarding the specialty, plus fully understand governance and its importance in promoting and maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and proactively monitor and feedback compliance
