Description:
Dezzex is an innovative technology firm focused on building cutting-edge solutions to modern urban challenges. We specialize in creating immersive digital twins that combine real-world data, interactive 3D environments, and AI-driven analytics to help city planners, government agencies, and private enterprises better understand and manage urban spaces. We are currently seeking a Unity 3D or Unreal Developer to lead the development of a digital twin smart city solution—focusing specifically on simulating road traffic, infrastructure, and urban dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Twin Development
- Design, develop, and implement a highly detailed 3D representation of a smart city, including roads, buildings, and landscapes.
- Integrate real-time data feeds (e.g., traffic sensors, IoT data) to visualize and simulate road traffic conditions and urban activity.
- Gameplay & Interaction Mechanics
- Develop interactive features for data visualization, allowing users to manipulate parameters (e.g., traffic lights, speed limits) and observe the impact on traffic flow.
- Implement realistic physics and AI-driven behaviors to simulate pedestrian and vehicular movement.
- Optimization & Performance
- Ensure the application runs smoothly across diverse platforms (desktop, VR, AR, mobile) by optimizing 3D assets and code for high performance.
- Monitor frame rates, memory usage, and rendering performance; employ techniques like LOD (Level of Detail) and occlusion culling where necessary.
- Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (data scientists, architects, GIS specialists) to integrate various data sources and ensure accuracy of the digital twin.
- Contribute to technical design documents, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform thorough testing to validate real-world accuracy of traffic simulations and urban layout.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring a stable and reliable product release.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Keep up with the latest developments in real-time rendering, engine capabilities, and AR/VR/MR technologies.
- Suggest innovative approaches to enhance the interactive experience and data visualization.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Expertise
- Unity or Unreal Engine Proficiency: Strong experience in either Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints).
- 3D Graphics & Rendering: In-depth knowledge of real-time rendering pipelines, shaders, lighting, and performance optimization.
- Scripting & Coding: Solid coding practices, including version control (Git) and object-oriented programming.
- Experience in Simulation/Visualization
- Familiarity with physics engines, AI traffic simulation, or GIS data integration is a significant plus.
- Previous projects involving large-scale environments or digital twins are highly desirable.
- Data Integration & Tools
- Experience working with real-time data streams, APIs, or IoT devices.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices and UI/UX design for interactive 3D experiences.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability
- Ability to translate complex urban scenarios into actionable development tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Communication & Teamwork
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting on project progress and challenges.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, data analysts, and product managers.
- Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is also considered.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
