JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Department of Public Health Sciences is seeking an Information Systems/Business Analyst III who will play a pivotal role in the management of Data Coordination Unit servers, network performance, data security, external data transfers, technical documentation, IT issues. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of IS/IT infrastructure, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to enhance information systems and processes.
PREFER ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES:
- At least one programming language with application development experience, (.NET Core)
- Relational database structure and query programming

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related area and two years experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities:
15% - Configuring, installing, and maintaining DCU database servers, web servers and file servers, including hardware, software and peripherals.
10% - Monitoring network performance and security and installing and configuring network hardware and software.
10% - Managing information system and network user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
10% - Developing and maintaining technical documentation of systems and networks.
10% - Developing computerized applications for data exchange between DCU and external collaboration partners.
10% - Validating web-based information management applications and managing application development change control and production release.
10% - Managing backup and restoration for database servers and file servers.
10% - Planning and implementing IT related policies and procedures.
10% - Troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues for employees.
5% - Review and analyze System, Application and Security Log Files.
