JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This position will be supported through the MUSC Specialized Center of Research Excellence (SCORE) on Sex Differences (NIDA grant U54 DA016511) Career Enhancement Core (CEC). The candidate will devote 50% effort to research activities associated with the SCORE CEC grant and the remaining 50% effort will be spent in other grant-supported research activities, working as a co-investigator on other grants. The candidate will also apply for other grants as principal investigator.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary: The training program will provide a supportive environment and access to faculty who will provide expertise and guidance in research design, measurement techniques, study coordination, data management, biostatistical analysis, research dissemination, and grant writing. In addition to the specific project, the individual will work with other faculty in pursuing other research endeavors as a co-investigator, further extending the individual’s background and experience.
Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 0: Commensurate with experience.
FLSA: Salaried/Monthly/Exempt
Minimum Requirements: Candidate must have a doctorate degree in Psychology, Psychiatry or related field.
