The Research Unit of Applied Statistics in the Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics at TU Wien has a university assistant (post-doc) opening for 40 hours/week, limited until expected 28.02.2025 or for the duration of cover for leave of absence. Expected start date: September 2024.

• Carry out collaborative and independent research in Statistics
• Teaching: Create and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments to ensure curriculum relevance and alignment with the latest academic and/or industry trends
• Supervision of students
• Professional Development: Stay current with emerging trends and challenges in Statistics, pursue opportunities for professional growth
• Participation in organizational and administrative tasks of the research unit and the faculty
