Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the NA Director of Recruiting and working as part of the Graduate Recruitment Team, the University Partnership Lead is responsible for implementing partnerships and relationship building with target universities and external professional bodies primarily in the province of Ontario. Additional scope could include other provinces as dictated by business need.
You will be at the forefront of positioning FDM as the first-choice destination for technical and business graduates to start their career in the IT and professional services sector.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic development – contribute to university strategy for Canada to identify key universities targets for recruitment across the identified region
  • Stakeholder management - establish and develop university relationships in the region to increase the number of preferred FDM suppliers
  • Coordinate and facilitate all university related recruitment events, including job fairs, corporate workshops, hackathons and networking sessions on behalf of FDM
  • Internal relationships – work with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, HR and the Skills Lab to ensure that university activities feed into the wider business requirements
  • External professional bodies – contribute to appropriate professional networks, representing FDM across the sector
  • Maintain relevant reporting metrics for university activities
  • Lead and contribute to special projects as identified
