Responsibilities:

MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA MAHI | ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is intended for a qualified teacher who will collaborate with the current team, fostering a stimulating and secure environment rich in educational opportunities for the children. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Te Whāriki and demonstrate the ability to effectively document children’s learning progress. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to cultivate positive relationships within the teaching team at Kidz@Wintec.

The un-qualified Early Childhood Teacher is based in our Kidz@Wintec, city campus | Te Pūkenga reporting to Lisa Baker Centre manager and will be responsible for:

  • The care and support of all our children
  • The educational outcomes for the children
  • Daily routines that may vary and adapt each day.
  • Documenting learning stories and uploading them to Story Park .
  • Maintaining effective communication with team members and parents/caregivers

  • Exhibit a strong committed to delivering high-quality education for learners and fostering positive relationships within the Wintec community.
  • Exhibits genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and compassion for children.
  • Capable of creating an engaging environment rich in learning opportunities.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Te Whāriki.
  • Experience with StoryPark would be highly beneficial.
  • A supportive and adaptable team member, able to perform various roles within the classroom.
