Role Summary:
As a key player in our Learning & Development team, you’ll empower employees across URBN and our iconic brands—Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People— to grow, innovate, and thrive. In this role, you’ll partner with the Head of L&D to design and deliver a suite of engaging learning programmes and initiatives for both our Head Office and Retail teams. You’ll take the lead in crafting blended learning solutions that captivate and inspire, helping to build a culture of continuous learning and growth. Collaborating closely with key HR stakeholders and partnering with leaders & managers, you’ll ensure our development initiatives are not just centralised, but also tailored to meet the unique needs of our teams and the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to design and deliver innovative learning solutions that engage and inspire our Retail and Head Office teams, driving high performance.
  • Support our digital learning strategy, by curating and adding engaging digital content and tools to our library, using AI supported eLearning authoring tools.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions both in-person and online, promoting fresh thinking and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Refine your knowledge, staying up-to-the-minute with all the latest thinking, you’ll serve as a font of knowledge for tools and approaches that support our people to be at their best.
  • Lead on a groupwide Mentoring program, in partnership with our exciting new Mentoring platform to ensure usage and impact for learners and the business.
  • Manage and optimise training calendars in collaboration with departments, ensuring timely delivery across the business.
  • Oversee updates to key training materials, such as onboarding programmes and leadership development, to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on projects, spearheading or being a contributor to various projects that make our people’s experience at URBN even better.
  • Deliver impactful new starter onboarding sessions, ensuring they are relevant exciting, welcoming and set new hires up for success.
  • Design engaging communication campaigns that encourage participation in learning initiatives.
  • Track, analyse, and report on learning effectiveness, gathering insights from learners and leaders to continuously improve and evolve our offer.
  • Serve as the point of contact, for anyone at URBN who wants to learn more or get some guidance on their personal development or that of their team.
  • Prepare regular learning data insights, to measure the success of learning initiatives and support business decisions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience of working with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) (desired, not essential)
  • Commercial understanding of Retail and Head Office team’s development needs
  • Experience delivering in a blended learning environment including: virtual training and distance learning methods, classroom/instructor-led training
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Flexible working style with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Psychometric certification such as MBTI or Insights (desired, not essential)
