WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL ADMINISTRATOR
We are looking for a mature individual that aims to not meet our patient’s expectations at our clinic, but to exceed them!
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years post-secondary in Medical Office Administration or Customer Service or Professional Writing and Communication or Equivalent
Responsibilities:
DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Being the main point of contact for patients, provide excellent customer service in Greeting, answering calls and emails, delivery of the welcome kit, scheduling appointments accurately based on patient’s treatment plans, registering patients, explaining services available and taking payments.
Able to provide highest quality customer service to our patients.
- Well-groomed & presentable personality, Extremely self-motivated.
- Understands the business side of running a medical practice.
- Neatly preparing clinic and each room for our clients (This includes doing light towel laundry and cleaning)
- Responsible for sterilizing and cleaning equipment and examination rooms.
- Strong communication skills and friendly personality.
- Responsible, well organized and able to work under pressure as well as multi-task. Proficient on the computer - MS word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Able to handle and schedule a high volume of patients per day while retaining the ability to make sure patients follow their treatment plan visit frequencies.
- Focused on growing in the Medical Customer Service field
- Remind patients of their appointment
- Knowledge of MVA/WSIB/IFHP Billings
- Submitting Claims to Third-Party Providers through various portal- Scan patient’s charts into the EMR system, prepare and mail correspondence. Experience with EMR & billing Portal - Telus for (EHC/HCAI/WSIB) experience are assets.
- Accounts receivable & collections
- Perform other administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and relaying messages
- Flexible working schedule, including weekday evenings and Saturdays is required.
- Keeping track of all approvals and denials of treatment plans submitted for clients.
- Tracking patient benefit coverages.
- Act in near partnership with the Clinic Director to accelerate the implementation process for new clients.
