Aon is looking an Account Representative, hybrid in Miami, FL!
Account Representative - help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through innovative reinsurance solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers at clients and reinsurance providers. Account Representatives work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. Candidates will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business, including property, casualty, marine, personal accidents and other specialties. Over time, the Account Representative will have increasing opportunities for international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients. Role Responsibilities:
Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions and strategic advice to address client needs
Build out internal and external networks to assist in growth efforts
Source new revenue opportunities
Communicate with and participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements
Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations
Assist in the technical analysis of client information
Collaborate with various supporting teams within Aon Reinsurance Solutions such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording to bring the best of Aon to clients Skills and experience that will lead to success:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Actuarial, Economics, Finance, Math or other similarly quantitative or analytically oriented major preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry with relevant knowledge and understanding of Treaty.
Fluent/Native in Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
Validated analytical skills - prior analytical and problem solving experience from academic and/or business environment
Solid understanding of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI; Access is also a strong plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
Ability to collaborate well with others and to interact with broad range of audiences.
Strong organizational skills including the ability to lead multiple assignments, work well with minimal direct supervision and meet goals in a timely manner.
Ability to think strategically and analytically and take initiative.
Be self-motivated and independent while maintaining underwriting discipline to achieve strategic objectives.
Willing to travel (typically less than 15%)

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $63,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted to reflect applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
