Position Summary…
What you’ll do…
Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities; champion company-sponsored programs and events to associates, customers, and the local community.
Drives talent management initiatives for assigned area by developing and implementing talent plans; monitoring workforce planning processes; acquiring and retaining key talent; developing relationships with external organizations; ensuring implementation of action plans for diversity initiatives; analyzing talent management data, tools, and systems; partnering with training and development to address training needs; monitoring performance management processes and initiatives; overseeing and ensuring consistency in recognition program application; and driving, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with compensation programs and policies.
Drives the execution of Human Resources (HR) practices, systems, programs, and policies in the assigned area(s) by gathering and analyzing data about HR performance; ensuring consistent application of the HR policies and programs; aligning available resources; identifying execution and communication gaps; and providing advisory and consulting services for business partners.
Defines the Human Resource(HR) strategy to support the assigned business area by understanding the strategic business goals and objectives; advising on the execution of organizational change initiatives; assessing the HR implications of various strategies; providing guidance to business leaders about HR issues; and focusing on HR planning and advice.
Supervise and/or manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, monitoring performance and providing feedback; identifying training and development needs and providing opportunities for learning and growth; teaching, supporting and modeling Logistics and company policies and procedures; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates, leaders and managers.
Investigate and ensure associate, customer and supplier concerns are resolved, using own judgment or consulting others when needed.
Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements.
Ensure compliance with company HR policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality and maintenance of HR-documents; assisting in the implementation of and ensuring compliance with HR systems applications; advising on, researching, and resolving HR-related issues; and analyzing information and data to recommend and/or make HR business decisions.
Monitor and ensure area of responsibility’s compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
Oversee, direct, and conduct day-to-day operations of all HR related functions (e.g., benefits, hiring/transfers, terminations, payroll, associate relations programs) by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives; monitoring the completion of training curricula; and addressing employment-related concerns for applicants, associates and managers.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $79,000.00-$169,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS…

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management or related field and 2 years’ HR Generalist experience (for example, payroll, workers compensation, benefits) with 1 year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing employees, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Human Resources Manager or Walmart Human Resources Office Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates, and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates, including dealing with employment compensation/payroll processing, employee relations, recruiting/staffing, organizational planning, and/or training and development programs OR 4 years’ experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees including one year of experience managing human resource processes (for example, staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits).
