What you’ll do…
Calling tech enthusiasts with a knack for problem-solving, a love for APIs, and a fun collaborative workspace to lead product development for our externalized APIs. These APIs enhance communication between our supplier system and third-party apps, offering a collaborative, fun and challenging environment to hone your skills while making direct business impact.
The Staff Product Manager leads developer-centric API product lifecycles through a deep understanding of Walmart’s supplier system capabilities and their alignment with Supplier goals. As a primary steward of our internal systems, you’ll ensure the APIs in our App Store are built for performance, usability and reliability. Reporting to the Director of Product, your role is critical to Walmart’s ability to share its services or data with third-party developers driving product innovation and expanding our assortment. This role requires smooth collaboration with other Walmart PMs and influencing them on inclusion and prioritization of dependent features and capabilities.

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 9 years’ experience in product management or related area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS…

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
