User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Specialist

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Specialist to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define user interface requirements and design innovative user experiences. * Develops and implement strategic vision for user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications. * Ensure that design concepts are aligned with user needs and mission outcomes and conduct user research, usability testing, and other user-centered design activities.

• Create and maintain design guidelines, templates, and style guides and work with developers to ensure that design concepts are implemented accurately and efficiently. * Supervises and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in an IT-related discipline or an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree * 5 years of position specific relevant experience. * Experience in UI/UX design, product design and/or enterprise application fields or relevant customer-facing job roles.

Preferred Qualifications: * Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc. * Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and design thinking. * Strong visual design skills with a focus on clean, modern design. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. * Relevant industry certifications desirable. Clearance Requirements: * Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel. * Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer. #cyber1234
