WHO WE ARE
Volvo Penta is expanding our development organization for marine and industrial applications. We are currently seeking a User Research Specialist to join the Vehicle Interface team within Electronics and Software. The Vehicle Interface team focuses on creating user interactions in graphical displays and physical control devices. With complete product ownership, the team oversees end-to-end responsibilities for deliverables, documentation, verification, validation, and incorporating customer needs into new product roadmaps.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a relevant field like Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in user-centered research and UX design.
- Profound understanding of user-centered research principles, both quantitative and qualitative, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with proficiency in graphical and video creation tools.
- Experience in impact mapping, empathy mapping, value proposition canvas, or related methodologies.
- Skilled in leading teams of fellow researchers, developers, and designers.
