Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, provides support to end-users for PC, server, network, applications and hardware. Responsible for configuring, installing and supporting hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision, provides support to end-users for PC, server, network, applications and hardware.
  • Interacts with various levels of IT staff and others outside of IT to restore service and/or identify and correct problems.
  • Responsible for configuring, installing and supporting hardware and software.
  • Provides Assistance to fellow IT Groups
  • Local travel required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to an Associate’s degree. Preference may be given to individuals possessing an Associate’s degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of data processing operations or Personal Computer support. Experience working with LAN’s/WAN’s and working knowledge of required hardware and software.
Licensure Requirement
Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure
