Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in tree cutting and arboriculture
- Previous experience in people management
- Experience of working with power lines and tree climbing
- Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team
- A flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to changing business and project priorities
- To keep up to date with legislation on tree protection and health and safety issues
- To be able to carry out tasks on a computer or hand-held device, and being able to use GIS equipment will be useful
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Safepass
- Manual Handling
- Safe pass, Manual Handling and Occupational Aid required.
- Chipper Certificate
- UA 1 Irl – an advantage
- Full Driving License
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of vegetation management around utility infrastructure
- Work within a highly skilled team responsible for managing trees near the utility infrastructure
- Complete risk assessments before work commences
- Carry out requested works safely, efficiently and effectively
- Set up safe working sites
- Liaise with members of the public on site if approached
- Carry out safety critical emergency works when required
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to continued expansion TLI Group are seeking applications for the position of Supervisor Utility Arborist. Relevant Utilities/Tree Trimming experience will be required for this role.
