Utility Operator

The Town of High Prairie is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated individual to serve as a Utility Operator. This person will have knowledge of and obey all safety regulations and orders.
Applicants should possess/provide the following:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brakes
· Current Driver’s Abstract
· Provide Criminal Records Check
The ideal candidate would have in good standing the following;
· Level III Water Treatment Certificate
· Level 1 or 2 Water Distribution Certificate
· Level 1 or 2 Wastewater Collection & Distribution Certificate
· Any other courses or experience related to water or gas distribution
would be an asset, such as Gas Utility Certificate and/or Journeyman Gas Fitter.
