Job Summary:
The Children’s Place is the largest pure-play children’s specialty apparel retailer in North America with over 1,000 points of global distribution. Our company headquarters is located in Secaucus, NJ where we offer exciting internship opportunities in Design, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Global Sourcing & Logistics, Planning & Allocation and Finance.
Responsibilities:
In addition to participating on a team project that is presented to the TCP senior leadership team, other highlights of the program include:
- 10 week paid program and Summer Friday work schedule
- Hands on experience learning our systems and processes
- Formal training sessions such as: Presentation Skills, Time Management Skills and Excel Skills
- Small group discussions with members of our senior leadership team
- Participation in community service events
Requirements:
- Available to work full-time for 10 uninterrupted weeks in the summer June 4th 2019 to August 9th 2019
- Candidates should have completed their Junior year and are on track to begin their Senior year at the end of their internship
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to quickly learn technical applications and processes
